We have made recommendations to local and State government departments to create an informative resource pack for recreational prospectors and better road navigational aides to help visitors prepare for their prospecting adventure.

In the meantime you can visit the Fossicking in Queensland site or become a customer of the Outback Prospector to get exclusive advice, resources and local tips.

Lodge your complaint with Queensland Resources Ministers Scott Stewart and Environment Minister Meaghan Scanlon to demand "why does the QLD Fossicking Act discriminate against recreational prospectors from enjoying this licenced recreational activity in QLD State Forest like any other permitted recreational activity? Please fix broken State Forest access laws for prospectors."
